Generate Images Directly in Photoshop on the Web

 

Have you ever had an idea that you wanted to share with others but couldn't find the right images to express it? You can picture it in your mind, but after hours of searching through stock images, nothing seems to fit. What if I told you that now you can generate an image directly in Photoshop on the web? In the April release of Photoshop on the web, we introduced a new beta feature that does just that using the power of Adobe Firefly.

 

Open Photoshop on the web

 

❶ Open Photoshop on the web and create new file

❷ Add image

  • From the tool bar select Add image --> Genreate Image (Beta)

❸ Generate an image using Adobe Firefly

  • Create your prompt.
    • Similar to Adobe Firefly, you can now create images in Photoshop on the web by entering a text prompt and selecting your desired content type and style. Creating a detailed prompt is crucial for getting the best results. If you're not sure where to start, check out this article: Writing effective prompts
  • Select your Content type
    • Photo will generate a more realistic result while Art will generate a more illustrative result.
  • Select your Style
    • Using a Reference image allows you to generate a new image that reflects the style and characteristics of the reference.
    • Select Effects to explore and apply various creative controls to customize your output.
  • Once the prompt is ready, select Generate and see what happens!

❹ Choose your variation

  • You'll see three genereated images everytime you "Generate". Choose your favorite variation from the Contextual Task Bar.
